What We Tell Others

Now that im anywhere.

Living life without care.

I can reinvent myself,

To the strangers that I meet.

The story’s already unique,

But I can pull lies from the shelf.

Careful exageration

The kind that goes unnoticed.

Stoke their imagination

With only a little twist.

A white lie here,

Absolute falsehood there.

Some slander smeared,

As long as i take care.

Hell I could make it all up,

Say I used to wear a tux.

Made all the big bucks,

Until some bad luck.

Found me.

Life is now my story.

I can do with it what I wish.

I’ll try not to make it too gory.

So I can tell my stories to my kids.
