Taking it seriously

A poem

I won’t take this seriously

I usually don’t

I figured it’d make me act deliriously

So I figured I won’t

Then you meet a someone

A human so inspiring

Kindest soul to everyone

Share your future they’re willing

Sharp as a scalpel

Slow to anger

Has some real fucking mettle

But always takes care

Motivated alone

To take over the planet

Its a privilege to come along

Im amazed she can stand it.

I’m afraid it won’t last

I won’t get another chance

If I get stuck in her past

She won’t stop the advance

I admire her resolve

I’ll try my best

To try and stay involved

Until my final rest
